Rebirth Junior High School – The Excelling Top Student Goddess [Chapter 62]

How do you know my real identity?

Yun Hua tried her best to suppress her facial expressions, putting on a look of cluelessness.

However, she did not realise that emotions cannot be controlled so easily.

One’s gaze and slight expressions were loopholes to someone who was well versed in the field of psychology!

Yua Hua did not realise that when she heard his question, while she managed to maintain a blank expression, her pupils enlarged and subconsciously looked to the upper left corner…

And her subconsciously pursing her lips while purposely widening her eye.

All these were signs that betrayed her mind.

Intelligence officers would have training in this area, learning how to create a facade through their expression and gaze, fooling over interrogators.

Such an ability would come from extremely tough and lengthy training.

The average person can just give up!

“Your real identity?” Yun Hua pretended to know nothing, looking at Bao Si Qing innocently.

Bao Si Qing smirked, he lowered his head in an instant, moving right beside her ear, speaking softly, “That night at the alleyway, you had already left so why turn back to save me?”

“I… I was afraid that the police would come finding me if someone died!”

Bao Si Qing smiled and he pinched her cheek lightly, “Is that so? Then why would you bring me to your house? You keep a metal bar on you for protection and when you faced me, you struck without hesitation and escaped quickly, those facts show that you have a strong sense of self-preservation and that you are very alert.”

He breathed into her ear causing her entire body to stiffen.

“You aren’t one of those dumb and pure little girls, so you wouldn’t just bring a heavily wounded man with an unknown background back home… Aren’t you afraid that I would hurt the people in your family?”

“The only reason you dared to do so was because you believe that I would not hurt you or your family members, that you believe that I was not a criminal.”

“Also, you don’t know how your gaze looks like when you’re looking at me, do you?”

Yun Hua could not reply, her mind had already turned to mush.

It was at this time that she felt a sharp pain on her earlobe then a warm feeling!

Yun Hua glared, her face turning into an even darker shade of red.

The bastard… The bastard bit her earlobe again!

“Pay attention.” Bao Si Qing’s tone lowered, sounding like a grand cello, stimulating Yun Hua.

“Little brat, the kind of respect in your gaze makes me feel like I’m a martyr who has already ascended to heaven!”

Bao Si Qing’s voice carried a little hint of melancholy, “What did I do for you have such a gaze? That sort of gaze is creeping me out!”

A revered martyr…

Yun Hua was on the verge of crying but could not find the tears.

She could not help but admit that he was way too good at reading someone’s mind.

Even she herself did not know what her gaze was like.

However, hearing him say that, she started to believe.

Yeah, that probably was the case!

But, how was she going to explain?

There was no way that she could tell him that he was already a martyr revered by the people when she got to know him!

Yun Hua was about to fall apart.

Bao Si Qing smiled lightly, once again resting his forehead on hers, bumping his nose against hers for just a moment before speaking gently, “It’s fine if you don’t tell me now, we’ve got a long long time together in the days to come…”

pursing her lips while purposely widening her eye.

  2. Ewww. Seriously, the one thing that I just can’t stand is when a strong character becomes mush from deplorable actions by a leading male. Real life response- fear and stomach churning then a call to the police or a knee to the ba**s. CN response- gains feelings of love and becomes shy and timid. The actual human response is just too different from the written response making the whole thing just seem like stupid lazy writing from an author that lacks any human interaction in their daily lives(which oddly enough might be very accurate, lol). I forgot, how old is this pervert anyway?

    • Then u want to avoid The General’s Genius Daughter. ITs really good but whenever the male lead comes ur polished character just falls apart. And the thing is, I’m fine with romance but her character has to stay together. The main lead isn’t even, like well devolved so I don’t like him interacting with her.
